Since this tax varies from state to state, it is essential that both buyers and sellers work with an experienced real estate agent. In fact, the transfer tax is collected at the city, county, and state level in some cases. Ohio calls the tax a real property conveyance fee. This tax, which can be collected by the city, county, or state (or all three), is usually based on a percentage of the sale price of your home. The short answer is “yes.” In most states, someone has to pay a special tax to ensure that the ownership of the property is transferred from the seller to the buyer. What is this fee? Is this something that every new homeowner has to pay? There may be a significant charge on the list that is called the real estate transfer fee, deed tax, mortgage registry tax or stamp tax. Some of the fees are for the necessary appraisal of the property. Some of the money goes to the lawyer who looked over the legal documents regarding the purchase or sale of your property. Some of the fees go to the bank for their part in processing your loan application. I am an experienced Sibelius user, but I am not affiliated with Sibelius Software all opinions expressed here are my own.The average homeowner who purchases a $150,000 home will pay approximately $3,700 in closing costs. Sib 5.2, Windows XP Pro SP3, 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo Audiophile 2496 2 G RAM. Works quite well in my experience, though watch out for tuplets, which will not split over barlines. The intention is to let you put in arbitrarily sized bars and split them off on demand. One other plugin of note is Neil Sands' Draw Free Rhythm Barline (, in the COmposing Tools category) which give you a large bar (126/4, I believe), and then lets you draw barlines where you wish.(These really split the bar, they are not just drawn in place, though that is another option as well). I note that in Sib 5, one can hide notes, so Hans_Christoph could possibly update the plugin to take advantage of that. You could also consider creating long enough bars to handle your notes that cross the barlines, then add barlines within the bar. Generally, Sibelius offers a number of ways to deal with such difficulties, and so, some consideration has been given to flexibility in dealing with specific difficulties. ![]() Other users will have their own preferred methods. Practice and brainstorming has produced techniques I use to get by. I, for example, score lute music and have become accustomed to similar work-arounds to achieve historic looking notation. I don't know how much of this you have to deal with. IF and WHEN they will be implemented is waiting to be seen. This isn't what some of us would like and feature requests of this nature are on their list to tend to. If you can grin and bear inputting your music, then going back and hiding those notes with ties and dots, then putting symbols in their place, you can achieve what you describe. ![]() However, you have some work-around options to choose from. However, Sibelius will not automatically take the dot off dotted notes nor will it allow for a long note value to cross a barline. It would be nice if you could achieve these requests in a simple manner.
